Matthew 22:36-39

WELCOME

Welcome to our visitors this morning. We’d love to have a chance to meet you! We’re so glad you have come, and we hope that your time here will be a blessing to you.

The Mission of Corner Brook Baptist Church is to honour God by helping people begin and continue a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Corner brook baptist hiking

Hike ‘Green Gardens Trail’ 9 km return, Saturday Aug 08, 2026. This is considered a moderate to difficult intensity trail.  The first half is mostly descent, and the return is mostly a climb. This trail is part way between Woody Point and Trout River, so it will take ~ 1.5hrs to drive there with the recent construction.  Meet at the church 9:00 am. We will sort ourselves into cars and then try and get on the road no later than 9:20 AM. All are welcome! You will need sunscreen, bug spray, lunch/snacks, water, and good shoes, either sneakers or hiking boots. Dress in layers! Ice cream or supper after the hike is an option for those who are interested.Any additional questions email Kathy at k_ork@yahoo.com.

NEW MEMBER’S CLASS

Baptism and church membership are important steps in the life of a Christian. If you want to know more about either, we invite you to join us for our new members’ class. The class will be a one-time, 2-hour introduction to baptism and church membership. The date will depend on who is interested and when they are available. Please get in touch with Pastor Mitchell at mitchell@cbbaptist.ca if you are interested.

march for jesus - corner brook

(Hosted by Sonrise Ministries) Everyone is welcome to join churches from across our city for this special event on Saturday, August 22, at 2:00 p.m. Everyone will gather at the Majestic Lawn and march together to Bowater Park, publicly lifting up the name of Jesus through worship, prayer, and unity. The desire is simple: to come together as the Body of Christ and declare that Jesus Christ is our only hope while praying God's blessing, peace, and salvation over our city

Our congregation has some people whose allergies and asthma can be triggered by strong scents and perfumes. Therefore, we would like to be as scent-free as possible.
